I feel like in the last couple of year nail varnish brands have really taken off but everyone has their favourites for example Essie, Butter, Ciaté and until a couple of weeks ago I was a true Essie girl. And then I found this, Highgray to Heaven by Sally Hansen.I have three unhealthy obsessions in life; The White Company, Taylor Swift and all shades of grey. In the last fortnight this has become my absolute favourite spring nail varnish. I feel like it's a brilliant shade for girls that aren't completely sold on the pastel blues and yellows for spring, but it's light enough to look fresh and appropriate.

Not only is the colour to die for by I absolutely love the consistency of it, it goes on brilliantly, has absolutely no drag, and dries quickly. Also, unlike most the brush is wide enough to cover my whole nail so it reduces horrible streaky lines. Admittedly at £6.99 this is on the pricier side of things but I justified it by seeing it as an investment because the bottle is considerably bigger than most cheaper brands. But I am a such a firm believer in you get what you pay for. All you need is two light coats from this lovely little bottle and your good to go for a week!
